Hi My name is Caroline and I'm passionate about counselling and tapping therapy! The latter is such a simple yet powerful tool and you can use it everyday as your 'emotional toothbrush'.

Are you looking for effective help to improve your well-being, mental and/or physical health?  Perhaps you need some early access support for general, exam, social or health anxiety? Would you like to release any negative emotions or get relief from stress, fear or trauma by learning self-help techniques that can create a calm, relaxed but alert state? Tapping combined with counselling can be the solution. This involves easy tapping with your fingertips on key relaxation points of your body, as well as helping you to talk, to understand yourself and to make sense of things. It can boost health, energy, happiness, contentment, focus and your performance! It can offer mindful meditations as well  creating peace, clarity, compassion and courage!

What is Tapping (EFT)?

Tapping (or Emotional Freedom Technique) can be a very effective, quick and powerful tool that simply involves tapping on key points of the body using your fingertips.  It has many uses and is ideal (combined with counselling) for early access support for mental health issues,

You can therefore use it on a regular basis at any time of the day or night, whenever it is needed! It can help you to control your emotions, stress or pain levels, rather than them controlling you, so is empowering and can significantly improve your mindfulness, quality of life and mental health. Research shows that it can decrease levels of cortisol (by 24% on average), disrupting the body's stress response. With the help of a therapist, you can get down to the root of any problems to give you a sense of freedom, confidence, peace and wellness.

Who am I?


My name is Caroline Mathews and I love my counselling and tapping work! Helping and listening to people, giving them quality time, boosting people's mental and physical health, being outdoors and cosy indoors are my passions!


I am a fully qualified therapist and counsellor, certified by EFT International professional body and insured. I am also a parent, a Forest School Leader and have over 20 years of teaching experience with primary and secondary students, with an enhanced DBS. 


I would love to support you in creating a healthier, calmer quality of life.
